Last year, we were contacted by the founder of another Minnesota nonprofit—"You’re Not Alone, Your Story Continues." They have been established since 2007 and do important work, including bringing therapy dogs into schools. Ever heard of them? We hadn't either.
As part of their recent trademark process in 2025, they requested that we cease using the phrase “You’re Not Alone” in our name, citing potential donor confusion. While our organizations have distinct missions, branding, and logos—and despite many other entities using similar language and trademarked name—we chose not to divert time, energy, or donor dollars away from our mission by entering a legal dispute.
Instead, we made the intentional decision to move forward by evolving our name to
You’re Never Alone, MN
This change allows us to stay focused on what matters most: supporting mental health and continuing to serve our community with integrity and compassion.
You’ll begin seeing our new name and logo reflected here and across our platforms in the coming weeks.
Thank you for standing with us, believing in our mission, and continuing to support us as we grow through this transition. Your trust and encouragement mean more than we can express.

At You're Never Alone, MN, we are dedicated to assisting individuals who face the difficult decision of prioritizing mental healthcare while balancing their financial obligations. We offer scholarships designed to alleviate the burden of deductibles and co-pays, thereby ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder access to essential support.

Established in 2023, You're Never Alone, MN was created by three women—Melissa Quance, Brittany LaFrance, and Heather Cook—who recognized the necessity for support in Minnesota. We are committed to ensuring that no individual is left without treatment.
